Optical Scanner

The images above represent several components of a system which include a laser scanning module, a motorized selectable slit aperture, and a dual laser assembly. The scanning module is one of several versions designed for our client which is based on critically aligned optical components. Alignment tooling was also developed to facilitate accurate assembly of the module. The slit aperture is imbedded into the module assembly and provides accurate positioning of the slit size with extremely high resolution. The dual laser platform houses two lasers of different wavelengths that are combined to produce one output beam. It also includes internal motorized laser filtering as well as micro-positioning components to align the output beam to the fiber coupling.
